With the untimely passing of our friend and colleague Roger Ross on Monday April 14th who served as the Academys Dean of the Upper School since 2000, the Academy will hold a memorial service for Mr. Ross on Thursday evening April 24th at 8:00 p.m. following the conclusion of the lower school drama performances. Students, faculty, staff, trustees, parents, alumni and friends of the Academy are welcome to attend. Donations to Montverde Academy will be accepted and an offering collected at the service to endow a prize in Rogers name to be awarded in perpetuity at commencement exercises. The service will include performances by our choir, Mr. Connelley and concert pianist Korby Moss Sanders and metropolitan opera tenor Ben Gulley.
