Within the framework of the operations of LUKMEF and as a major strategy to reach and impact the lives of the largest number of persons (targets) within our scope and location of intervention, LUKMEF hereby seeks to build a solid partnership with other organizations across the Country known as LUKMEF FIELD PARTNERS (LFP). All LFP are independent organizations exercising their own activities. These organizations may already have acquired high level skills in project elaboration, resource mobilization, project implementation, reporting, monitoring & evaluation OR require such skills to be developed for effective work on the field. The LUKMEF BoD recommend that in case of capacity gaps, LUKMEF takes the mandate to build such capacities to facilitate the eventual implementation of high impact projects in collaboration with LUKMEF when needed. LUKMEF and its LFPs are not in a network, consortium, coalition or any formal settings. It’s a partnership purely rooted in mutual development goals. The partnership allows for resource management efficiency, information sharing and mutual visibility through mentoring, twining and project co-development and implementation. No partner has an obligation to the other under this setting and may at anytime choose to terminate the collaboration with or without notice. The overall objective of the partnership is:- i) To empower a large number of small and medium size civil society organizations to become major development actors capable of partnering reasonably with LUKMEF in its development efforts ii) To increase the net yearly total investment of LUKMEF in development actions by improving access to local, national and international development/funding programs. iii) To increase the number of projects implemented by LUKMEF-Cameroon in collaboration with its LFPs and hence the total number of communities and persons impacted by LUKMEF within its key areas of operation.
