Witnessed a very Glasgow solution to a problem yesterday evening as I was on the final leg of my return from a great day out in Rothesay. A drunk lurched on to the bus in Union Street, held everyone up as he fumbled through his pockets for the fare and berated the driver for the cost of it. He then stumbled up to take a seat behind me and began to insult those sitting in the immediate vicinity loudly and obnoxiously. When he started to shout at a couple of young lassies and pawed one of them, a guy rose from the back of the charabanc, stepped up and banjoed him with a single punch. He dragged the stunned arsehole down the length of the vehicle, politely asked the driver to pull in and open the doors, and pitched the offender face-first out onto the pavement. Job jobbed. Magic potions.:-)
