Wizards offense too much for Lone Peak Knights in 16-5 rout Wizards refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Lone Peak Knights, recording a 16-5 victory on Saturday at Burgess Park. With 14 runs in the first three innings, Wizards left no doubt about the eventual outcome. An RBI single by CJ Cutshaw, a groundout by Ben Stern, and a wild pitch in the first inning and a single by Mason Holman, a two-run single by CJ, a two-run single by Daisean Cash, and during the second inning helped Wizards put some runs on the board early. Daisean racked up three RBIs on three hits for Wizards. Ben got the win for Wizards despite allowing five runs over five innings. Ben struck out seven, walked none and gave up six hits. After posting two runs in the first, Lone Peak Knights again scored two in the fifth. In the first, Lone Peak Knights scored on a two-run error, scoring Jared and Karsetn. Wizards matched its one-run fourth inning with one more in the fifth. In the fourth, Wizards scored on an RBI single by Mason, scoring Garrett Thompson.
