Woke up this morning to the sight of G sitting right beside me, - TopicsExpress

Woke up this morning to the sight of G sitting right beside me, looking out of the window. I observed her for a good few minutes and secretly snapped a shot of her, just quietly looking out of that window. And when she turned to me, I whispered: G, are you happy? She just let out a soft meow I wished I could understand what it meant. Her world is right beyond that window, her world was once where she used to roam so freely about. I know that shes safe with me at home and I want her to be safe. But is this the life that she really wants? Nobody knows but G herself. I felt really sad for her at first, now its starting to grow into an anger. Whoever you are, that person had brought about this unnecessary mess into Gs life. While I was in Turkey, I came across so many beautiful community cats roaming freely on the streets. People were either feeding them occasionally or just letting them be. And these animals genuinely looked happy. Im pretty sure that G was a happy and carefree cat before the incident. In fact, she definitely was and still is so friendly towards people, yet unfortunately that very lovable nature of hers became her downfall. Isnt it a cruel and sick joke? Why cant people just leave community animals like G alone? If you dont love them, you dont NEED to! Just leave them alone because they do not and will not affect you in any sense. All they ever wanted is just to live a carefree life. Why are we so selfish to rob that freedom away from these community animals? G, I really wished I could read your mind...
