Workers in the UK tend to be overly-optimistic about the state of their health, according to a new RAND Europe survey: -19% of UK workers drink too much -39% impact or have impacted their health by smoking -52% have poor diets -20% are overweight or obese -87% have a Vitality Age older than their actual age. Yet, many workers with multiple health-risk habits report good or very good health and dont plan on changing: -93% of excess drinkers report 0% desire to drink less -60% of smokers dont intend to quit -67% of those with poor diets plan to continue their eating habits -16% of the overweight or obese do not want to lose weight. on.rand.org/zveux
