Wow. Bacteria (that are everywhere btw...in soil, on rocks, in metal and on batteries no less) that ingest pure energy, excrete pure energy and connect to each other via biological extensions that conduct pure energy. Their behavior speaks of an intelligence and an ability to interact with environmental stimuli (I mean cmon, they chain together in deep mud to find oxygen!). Interesting that these organisms exist in what is considered to be inert, unconscious material. Im just riffing here but perhaps we will one day realize that the collective consciousness of these bacterial colonizers actually contains some level of overt sentience. After all, when we look at ourselves, our own native genetic material numbers approximately 20,000 – 25,000 genes compared to that of our bacterial symbiotes (the microbiome) which numbers approximately 3.3 million.
