Wow! I found some gems in the Word today. Actually, Easter 2013, at James River Assembly, God gave me John 14:12. That verse wrecked me for months! Now I realize that He said before and after the part where He said well do greater (Yay!) things than He did, he says whatever you ask in His name, He will do it. He says it twice. He must have really, really meant it! Another verse that got me this morning was that anything you do thats not in faith is a sin. Wow! He really wants all of us. This verse was in context of what we eat. Seems insignificant, right? Its not to Him! So lets continue to walk in the Spirit, by faith, and His grace and mercy and power will sustain us. Actually, well thrive!!! I love yall! I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. [Exod. 3:14.] [Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM]. bible/8/jhn.14.12.amp But the man who has doubts (misgivings, an uneasy conscience) about eating, and then eats [perhaps because of you], stands condemned [before God], because he is not true to his convictions and he does not act from faith. For whatever does not originate and proceed from faith is sin [whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful]. bible/8/rom.14.23.amp
