Wow! Thank you, Chris H. , for the review on Trip Advisor. Few people know about the Mimosa option- so glad you shared it and we were delighted to have you. Please come back soon! "Everything about this property enhanced our visit to the Santa Ynez wine country. This recently built inn is Victorian in style and looks like a large converted home. Our deluxe room was huge! It was octagonal in shape with ample drawer and closet space. There were so many amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The bed, pillows and linens were so soft and comfy affording an excellent night’s sleep. We loved the in room whirlpool tub and shower sauna. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a nice addition but would’ve been better had the light on it actually worked. The robes were so soft. The extra touch of piped in music (Josh Groban, Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble, to name a few) was great. We loved that we could adjust the volume to our own level or just turn it off. The fireplace lent a romantic air to the already romantic Victorian design of the room. Free bottled water, coffee maker and soda were a nice touch. Perhaps the best part of the inn is the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Served in the large dining room, you usually have your choice of an egg entrée or a pancake/waffle entrée. Eggs Benedict or ricotta waffles were the choice our first morning. The second morning, the decision was between ricotta pancakes or a ham and gruyere cheese omelet. Vegetarian dishes are also available and the meal is supplemented with a variety of pastries, fruits, yogurts, and granolas to choose from. Coffee and a large selection of teas and juices are included as well. For a slight additional cost of $8, you can even have a mimosa! The staff is rarely seen but very much working behind the scenes and immediately available at the front desk. The staff in the dining room was attentive and friendly and the grounds were perfect for sitting in the garden, savoring the delicious coffee. Some rooms had balconies on which it would be great to sit and relax! The inn was within walking distance to several well reviewed restaurants including Trattoria Grappolo and SY Kitchen. This location makes a excellent home-base for exploring the many wineries in the Santa Ynez Valley and I cannot recommend it enough."
