Wow! What a great way to end the season. This was our fourth straight championship tonight for AMS Girls Soccer. We beat a very good team from Cumberland County 2-0. I am so proud of this team and how we bonded from the start. Megan Ivey set the pace tonight with an early goal. She sent a laser past the Cumberland County goalie. Erin Bell got the second goal after a great pass from Ashlyn Brown. Olivia Campbell got yet another shut out. She had lots of help from her backs (Ashyln Brown, Madison Brown, Becky Butler, and Taylor Anderson) Everyone played great tonight! It was a TEAM win all the way. Our non friendly conference record was 10 wins, 0 losses and 1 tie. In these games, we gave up only 3 goals! Our overall conference record was 13 wins, 0 losses, and 2 ties. Our only losses came from a travel Under 13 boys team, 2-1,that we beat later in the year, 2-1, and a very talented non-conference team form Coffee County, 4-1.
