Wow , this is a blast from my past . This is one of the first amps I built back in 2008 after I had modified a few amps and decided to build one from the ground up. If I remember correctly this started out as a 1x10 combo and was repurposed into a head. It is a simple fender champ circuit with a fat switch, this is the perfect 5 watt amp for listening to old pre amp tubes and listening to the subtle differences in the tubes. After about 45 or 50 amp builds this is the first one that came back for a repair , it needed a new rectifier tube , heck nothing lasts forever. It was nice for me to see this , because it reminded me where i came from and where I am now in building amps , component suppliers have changed , wiring and layouts have changed , grounding and circuit boards have changed, over the last six years. Thanks to everyone who has played or purchased one of my amps over the years , and have given me creative feed back to help me on my amp building journey..
