Written with Love Out with the old In with the new Hoping to let go of yesterdays sorrows And welcome dreams of splendid tomorrows While letting go of chains that seem to bind me To a past of many hidden and buried horrors As a beautifully brighter future insight I do see With my pen at hand and many lines inside of me I can put my pen to paper and finally within I feel free Of so many heartaches that seem to take me to my knee With my pen upon my paper within my mind so often is where Ill flee With tear filled eyes as my lips quiver Ill simply write down my plea Whether it may be under an unconstrained branching tree Or upon a wild and violently angered beast of a blue sea Where ever my mystical muse does choose is where Ill be And for my children I hope a future so bright For they truly are my hearts beats one delight And morrows without worries to keep them up at night And may they always keep their dreams insight And never have to face a daunting moment of fright For they are the one true joys of my life May God always wrap them in his everlasting love With guardian Angels to keep them safe as they hover above And also with hopes for a wonderfully amazing relationship With a man so sensitive and nurturing who has chose to hold my hand And walk with me across this beautifully magical yet very brutal land Where someday upon a beach we will write our love within the sand Spring Pitts 12/30/2014
