YAK AND YARN Yak and Yarn is still here, alive and well, and meeting the third Friday of the month from 6 – 9 PM at Church of the Good Shepherd. For now, we are meeting in Fellowship Hall or Youth Room. If 6 PM is too early, come when you can. If 9 PM is too late, leave when you must. Our mission of good fellowship, working on crafts and helping those who need our help is continuing. We are still using materials donated to us to create items for Red Bird Mission and other charities. Our next meeting will be Friday, April 18, 2014. It would be a great evening to complete your work on that craft you haven’t finished--OR, you could start that new Spring craft that you’ve always wanted to do. Remember, the UMW Craft Show is this coming October. Now is a good time to get a head start on your craft for the show. COME JOIN US. Just bring yourself, a friend, your craft to work on, and something to munch on. We usually make coffee, and water is free from the water fountain or tap—otherwise, BYO.
