YOU WANT TO ENJOY PROTECTION, SAFETY AND LIVE LONG? THEN FEAR GOD AND OBEY HIS WORD/COMMANDMENTS!!! Deuteronomy 6:1,2 KJV Length of days is relative to your obedience to the Word of God! Honour your father and mother is also linked to life span! I urge all not to try God nor take Him for granted because Hes a Loving God but also an all-consuming fire! Obey the Word of God and live long; honour your parents and live long. This is the unshakeable Word of God! To obey is better than sacrifice!!! Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all you who remain of the house of Israel, you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:3,4 NIV Do you believe God? If you do not know, then please find out. But if you know that this word applies to you, then know for sure that God is Faithful to His Word always. When He Promises, He NEVER fails! His Promise is very clear; He Made you and has been with you ever since and will be with you till you are old and grey! He Will protect, sustain, deliver, carry and rescue you etc. He is true to His Word! Halleluyah! Amen!! Thank You Lord Jesus!!! I have a great heritage in Christ Jesus!!! The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you. Proverbs 9:10,11 NASB So you want wisdom and understanding? Well, if you will fear the Lord, you will begin to get wisdom; and if you learn to know Him, you will accrue understanding! However, mankind finds this so difficult to do because of sin. It is a big battle for us to fear God and learn to know Him, even though, He readily makes Himself available to all who would humble themselves and come to Him as little children! Hmmm! Lord, Help me to humble myself in Jesus Name; so I can learn to fear You and learn to know You in Jesus Name. Amen!!! On Herods birthday the daughter of Herodias danced for the guests and pleased Herod so much that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked. Prompted by her mother, she said, Give me here on a dish the head of John the Baptist. The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he ordered that her request be granted and had John beheaded in the prison. His head was brought in on a dish and given to the girl, who carried it to her mother. Johns disciples came and took his body and buried it. Then they went and told Jesus. Matthew 14:6-12 (NIVUK) Look at the manner of persecution suffered by John the Baptist! Good Lord! Have mercy! Herod didnt like the man because he rebuked him for sleeping with his brothers wife. Herod obviously passed on his hatred of John the Baptist his wife, who at the earliest opportunity prompted her daughter to ask for Johns head! The kings word had gone out and could not be changed to give the young lady whatever she asked for! Alas! She asked for the head of John the Baptist! Hmmm! Did John do anything to deserve this? Why did God allow it? Didnt Jesus Christ know what was happening? Why didnt He Help John? The thoughts and ways of God differ from those of man indeed! God is all-knowing, all-wise and all in all! If God allows a thing, it is for His Good, Acceptable and Perfect Wills sake. Therefore, fret not folks!!! (5) Look among the nations and watch. Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days Which you would not believe, though it were told you. (6) For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans, A bitter and hasty nation Which marches through the breadth of the earth, To possess dwelling places that are not theirs. (7) They are terrible and dreadful; Their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves. (8) Their horses also are swifter than leopards, And more fierce than evening wolves. Their chargers charge ahead; Their cavalry comes from afar; They fly as the eagle that hastens to eat. (9) They all come for violence; Their faces are set like the east wind. They gather captives like sand. (10) They scoff at kings, And princes are scorned by them. They deride every stronghold, For they heap up earthen mounds and seize it. (11) Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; He commits offense, Ascribing this power to his god. Habakkuk 1:5-11 This God is so Great! He does whatever pleases Him! Who can challenge Him or tell Him how to run His creation? Hmmm! He is to be worshiped, feared and adored! He puts checks and balances in place; He Knows exactly how to punish even those He Loves who go out of line in order that they might be saved ultimately! The above are a type of people created for a purpose ordained by God to discipline nations. So, everything you see and are experiencing is known to God and actually part of Gods Sovereign Plan!
