Ya know I am all for making Miami Beautiful and we as residents of Miami try to keep our yard cleaned up.. but what chaps my behind is when a compliance officer visits residents of Miami about their grass being 3 inches high and I get to look out into my backyard and view the pictures posted below...Yes I realize we have had a lot of rain recently but I seem to manage to keep my lawn mowed....yes those pictures are from the Operation Center in Miami and yes it is a business but in a residential area. Business or not, the lawn should be mowed and the debri cleaned. There is also a huge Dirt pile back there ... If WE are trying to Beautify Miami why isnt something being done there, why is it that the city is more worried about 3 inch high grass when we have to look at that or better yet drive down the truck route and look how beautiful that road is....it seems to me that you should take care of business in your own backyard before gripping at others for doing the same thing you are doing....if we are truly trying to beautify Miami then lets all do our part!!!!
