Yanceyville: Edward Charles Snyder 56, of 7803 N.C. Highway 86 S. passed away Saturday June 22, 2013 after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born in Volusia County Florida Oct 20, 1956 to Bobbie Hicks Snyder and the late Charles William Snyder. He grew up in Florida and graduated from high school there. He was an operator of heavy equipment such as the bulldozer and other equipment. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish and deer hunt. Surviving are his wife Joann Johnson Snyder of the home, mother Bobbie J. Snyder, two sisters Linda Karen Snyder of Morehead City, N.C., Bonnie Gail Snyder of Leasburg, three brothers Joseph G. Snyder of Osteen, Fl., Robert Walter Snyder, Raymond William Snyder of Morehead City and stepson Jason Johnson. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Memorial Gardens in Williamston, N.C. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7-8:30 p.m. at Harrelson Funeral Home and at other times at the residence. Condolences may be made at harrelsonfs.
