Yes, its super sad that Robin Williams has passed away & may he RIP. But, you wanna know whats even sadder? How he died. & how much he must have been suffering to feel the need to take his own life. &&&& even more so, the fact that millions of others could feel this very same pain, deep within themselves, every single day. Then, they take (or try to take) their own lives & people portray them as crazy. Why?! How are they any different than this man who has devoted decades of his life to bringing us joy & entertainment, all while wishing he could be happy himself???? It could very well be that the last person who went out of their way to be kind to you, or make you laugh or smile, is fighting a personal battle that you know nothing about. Depression & mental illness are real things that could affect ANY single one of us. & that doesnt make us crazy. It makes us human. Maybe its time we all realize that. & maybe, just maybe, we should start providing a more understanding, caring, & welcoming (& less judgemental) atmosphere for those who need someone to reach out to. In my best Robin Williams voice: HELLLLOOOOO!!!!! Wake up folks.
