Yesterday I redid Day 15 of Insanity Max 30. My body decided I had pushed it hard enough all year and I needed to take a break by giving me a little bug. After resting last week I came back with a vengeance and #IMaxedOut at 16:50. Say What?! That was crazy. After almost 17 minutes all out though I was spent and had to push through the last 13. You know I did it though. My drastic jump in time from 9:22 to 16:50 really just shows how bad my body needed to rest, especially since this was the Cardio Challenge and cardio is one of my weakest links in fitness. I lose it fast. Listen to your body. I use my workouts as a resource to fighting depression and anxiety so Im almost fearful at times to not get my regular workouts in. This has taught me a lesson to schedule a week off from my routine here and there. Do you take time off from your workouts? Please share how often? Oh and I dont mean a day for recovery I do that.
