Yesterday I was watching the inevitable defeat of Mister and Pete on Netflix and by the end I was in tears to my grandsons surprise and concern. I think what brought me to tears was watching the social impact and hardship of addiction on this and all families. The way it robs you of yourself leaving a shell for you to exist in and the kids to contend with. Two young kids having to go into role reversal to survive in a world they were not meant to be alone in. I was moved by their valiant effort to try, trust, believe and hang in there till the end. I was touched by their intuition, ingenuity and progressive decision to care for one another when they started out with being annoyed by one another. It reminded me of the possibility that lies in each of us to counter the blows life throws at us and make it through. So I guess my tears are for you too, whoever you are who is still in battle for your future. I believe in you! Keep your head up beloved. Its gonna work out some how! 2015 will be your year of release so dont you ever give up!
