Yesterday Randy Veach, President of Arkansas Farm Bureau, testified in support of my bill that would require a full economic analysis to be done before any critical habitat designation would be made. I think this common sense reform would ensure that private land owners, businesses, and municipalities would have a better idea of what a potential new federal regulation would mean to them.
