Yesterday is such a long day, but it’s all worth it. Arrived home at 10PM and have spent approximately 15 hours (6PM – 8PM) inside PAGCOR Grand Theater for the Cluster 1 Competition. It was tiring, but fulfilling in its truest form, not only because we were able to bring home two championships in two battles (Hataw Sayaw and Battle of the Bands) but more of the know-how of sharing the humbling moments with the students , our School’s representatives at the back stage. Being the students “Personal Assistant (PA)” made me realize the relationship of Service to Leadership, Leaders do not exist to be served but to serve instead. CONGRATULATIONS! Miko Cusi and Jastine Ann Montilde for making STI College Las Piñas proud, for showing the crowd your excellent mix of beauty and wit. For giving a good fight and for inspiring the audience with a SINCERE, CONFIDENT, and SUBSTANCE - FILLED answers during the Q&A (in the Q&A no one could ever match the way you guys answered), for us… Crown and Sash will not draw the bar for winners, winners are those who impacts and encourages others. Thanks for doing that! Pamela Macario for singing – out your heart during your performance, if your voice and your song have inspired and touched lives of 2 … 10 …. and hundreds of people, then it is more vital than the trophy Singing Idol Judges can award you. One thing is sure; you did inspire your fellow STI’ers in Las Piñas. BARESWITCH, thanks for rocking the house! Thank you for showing PAGCOR (Cluster 1) what is a TASTEFUL BAND and Classy Rock Music is. Let’s shift gear towards the National Competition at Enchanted Kingdom! SHINDIGTIGIDIG, for living up to the phrase “Saving the Best for Last”, your dance brought the house down! Now I understand that they really have all the reasons to dread and expect from the dance group of STI College Las Piñas. It is a well – deserved Victory! Time to conquer the National Competition at EK. Thank you God for all of these opportunities to expand the horizons of our students. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to pray and seek you as a team even before the competition starts (we did that for the first time, and will continue doing it …. experience praying corporately is awesome!). ALL THESE FOR THE GREATER GLORY OF GOD!
