Yesterday it felt like someone died when I heard the news of Victor Ocheis resignation. Before long I was sufficiently consoled by the fact that some have actually died in one office or the other, but this is a different case. This is hope hope for anything while there is life. On a better reflection, I remembered the very day he came to Olona youth meeting in Ojuelegba to indicate his interest in politics and solicit our support. That day I remembered Egbo and others who have tried and failed and I doubted the very young man. But he proved me wrong and attended the highest hieght anyone in the LGA ever did by election in Delta States politics. He has brought Olona from obscurity to the limelight, he was the most popular SOH in his era, his influence spread beyond the boundaries of Delta State. He is bold, brilliant and beautiful, his most of our son, our illustrious son, my brother (nwa mama ishiekpe), your brother in whom we pride. His eyes was on the big one and his intention is to bring more glory to our people and Delta North as a whole, this is the time to stand up and give him the one thing he asked of us from the beginning, our support. Some mischief makers may be stabbing his back now, let us assure him that we are standing by him and are grateful for the sacrifices he has made these few years. Let us bombard the social networks and airwaves with good will messages for our brother. Our lion we know you indomitable!
