Yesterday, my wife Becky drove our Volt to work. On her way home, she was stopped at a traffic light, when a lady in the car next to her shouted, “Is that really true?” “Is what true?” “The sign on your car – ‘NO GAS since MAY’ – is that really true?” Oh, my wife remembered, the sign! – one of her husband’s ideas… :/ “Yes, it is. We haven’t put any gas in our Volt since May!” “Well, if you don’t put any gas in it, how does it run?” “It runs on a battery.” “Oh. What’s in the battery?” That’s when the light changed to green, and Becky realized her answer would have to be brief. Just before driving away, Becky shouted, “Lithium!” :D
