Yesterday was probably one of my most disturbing days ever in my life and yet it was one of the most rewarding. Sounds odd I know. Not being in full time ministry has its challenges today. It is ok in the workforce to talk about anything but your experience with God. It gets even more confusing when other Christians are involved with this type of persecution. I am just grateful for Gods word and His promises. The day finished with several pieces of good news. Prayers being answered and requests for ministry. Someone calling to tell me their church was closing and they had heard what we where doing and wanted to come and see if we would work for them. In ministry it is important to people to have freedom to choose and listen to God for the right place to worship and she had heard great things about the ministry that we do that goes beyond the 4 walls of the church. It was Gods reminder that He sees my heart and purpose and He is ok that I am so excited about what He is doing through our ministry together. I get that the world cant understand the things of God. I expected more from someone identifying themselves as Christian and yet it is not my expectations that they have to live to. So lesson learned once again that there will be trials and tribulation. The world leans more into ways to find fault in faith and lets everything else have priority. That can not change my heart for God and my faith in what He is doing. I can keep my excitement about the healings and deliverences to after work hours. God gives me more friends of faith every day. Full time ministry will be worth the journey. May today bring you the strength you need to walk with God in your situation, what ever it may be. It truly is a peace that goes beyond understanding. Be humble and rely on Him for your strength and watch what he will do in your life. Be blessed and be a blessing to someone today.
