Yesterday we lost the family patriarch. Floyd was wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. We were all blessed to be a part of his life! He always lead by example not words. However when you screwed up he had no problem finding the words:) He was a very devout Christian who tried to refrain from judgment. Although he could be firm, he was also kind and compassionate. We did not always see eye to eye, but I knew he always loved me. Beside his family, his biggest passion was sailing. I remember many, many trips to Fishing Bay. Although I liked to sail before I met Floyd, he made me learn to love it!! I am just so very sorry he never got to sail on our boat. Thank you for the gift of sailing! I will miss him in so many ways. In the coming weeks, months and years I am sure I will remember times I have forgotten. Rest in the arms of our Lord, your journey is over! I love you very much!
