Meet SPC Tyler Jeffries: On October 6th, 2012 while on a dismounted foot patrol in Afghanistan, Tyler walked onto a command wire IED which was detonated by an Afghan Militant causing him to lose his right leg below the knee and his left above the knee. Tyler suffered a severe burn to his left arm and a ruptured left ear drum along with multiple other injuries from the blast.
