Yet another miss on a job, this time I was only beat out for the job because one of the candidates had done exactly what they were interviewing for and I had some of the experience with the level of ASD students the position was to work with. On the upside the principle volunteered to keep her eyes open for me and also put a strong recommendation into my file so that I flag when other administrators are looking at applications.
