You better believe I will make sure every girl I teach from 5th grade and up sees this and then we are going to talk about it as a whole group! CONFIDENCE is SO IMPORTANT TO ALL GIRLS! I LOVE this commercial. I cant even call it a commercial; its more like a campaign for girls to feel confident and comfortable being them! To be #LikeAGirl is awesome! This hit home for me. I grew up with 4 brothers. I saw how girls are treated when they try to play sports with the boys at recess. Its intimidating sometimes and when those girls hold their own, I am so proud!! It doesnt even matter how they play, the proud moment comes from the fact that they are confident enough to go out and play!!! I love that! I have heard this phrase way to many times, just from my own personal experience and its still said a lot today! I have first hand knowledge of this from teaching 6th grade. No one should be made to feel like theyre not good at something, weak, or different. Girls excel just like the boys do! Everyone has the potential! Share is video with everyone you know especially the boys!! I really dislike people who try to take away your confidence!! It is SO HARD to GET BACK!! How about we never let it Go to begin with.
