You could learn alot from a Palm Tree. Palm Trees are amazing! They withstand 100MPH+ winds and rarely break or get uprooted. Its because of the strength of their root system that they can withstand such traumatic circumstances and remain planted. After all, storms only last for brief moment. Sometimes, circumstances become so contrary, even hurtful, that what we FEEL simply does NOT match up with what we KNOW is Gods truth. But what we FEEL in adversity is like the palm trees branches in the midst of a tropical storm and what we KNOW, Gods truth, is like the palm trees roots. FEELING the storm does NOT mean youre losing, breaking or being uprooted, it is simply a human acknowledgement of the nature of the storm. However when youre STRONGLY ROOTED in the Truth, despite how badly your branches may bend & thrash about under the pressure, you will NOT break nor be uprooted. Lesser trees, with weaker roots, get uprooted and break easily in storms. As believers, we will go through storms that hurt, threaten and try to ravish our lives. BUT, WE must be just like PALM TREES, strongly rooted to outlast the storms, because once the storm passes, the sun comes out again, and what was once a threatening sight, becomes a beautiful source of pleasure and relaxation.
