You know what sucks... when you hire someone to do something, cause thats what they do, and they cant do it... Im not menioning names cause I really like these guys and they do good work as far as plumbing goes.... good plumbers have always been hard to find... Wanted to have bath surround installed... yeah, sure we do them all the time... first issue, old house... where tub goes is brick walls with plaster... normal tub size is 60 wide, we had to do everything we could to squeze this tub in... the area above the tub was 58 wide due to plaster... so the hunt began.. found the surround I wanted.... not those cheapo pieces of crap.. called the plumbers and set my appointment. They come, do their thing, I come later... the thing isnt sticking to the wall... I call and tell them... they reply...yeah we know!... I dont see them for 2 days.. when I do see them, they are stripping glue off the back of the surround. They try another type of glue... a few minuted later the guy comes in and says, I dont know what to tell you, it wont stick to concrete... my reply..you knew it was concrete when we started this, thats why I hired you... I could have made it not stick myself... he tosses his hands up and leaves... leaves me with the panels to clean up, the walls to clean up, the tub to clean up...etc... So today, I finished sticking the last of the panels....myself...mr. Im no plumber, have never done this before, ever.... and guess what.... they stick! My system was quite funny, but it worked!
