You know yesterday we ran sound for a festival to raise money for the animal shelter here in Kalkaska! (which is a great thing) As much as I still love my classic rock, I will say I am so thankful that I put on all age concerts, I love working with the bands I work with, I love being around the youth and older, they have so much energy, and I smile when I see all this energy at our shows! To think that everyone sat yesterday watching the bands (or hung in the beer tent) no energy whatsoever until the last band went on and I looked at Damien and said screw this, I am gonna get out there and dance and get these people moving. It only takes one person to get people going, I succeeded and got them out there dancing. (How can you not dance to an ACDC tribute band?) I may be 44 but I am not dead. I love life and enjoy it, it is time for people to enjoy life, if you go to see bands show them you like it, not just by whistling or clapping! Get off your asses and stand and dance and sing along! Make them feel worthy! If you were at WoofStock yesterday and are coming out to the Kalkaska County Fair to see a couple of the bands that played yesterday, take notes watch our crowd and learn from them what it means to support and enjoy music! Thank you to all the faithful kids (I call them kids because I am 44 lol) and all the bands that I have ever worked with! I love you all and thank you for keeping the energy going it is a good thing, without smiles, laughs, dancing even hardcore lol it would be a pretty boring life!
