You may have seen me looking a bit teary after Miss Sportsman but let me assure you that it wasnt anything to do with being a sore loser. I actually made a promise to myself that if I took home the title that I would finally come out to my very religious family. After the shows one of my friends that knew of this promise to myself came up to me and said that I dont need a title to come out and that they would be there to support me, and that it was set me off. As much as I thought I needed something like a title to prove to my family that I am happy and successful, after chatting to everyone I feel very supported and I know whatever may happen with my biological family good or bad, I always have my new family I have made in the community who love me no matter what.
