You see the true colors in people when you reach out to them or they reach out to you. Traveling half way across the country, people ive known for years create excuses not to give me a second of their life when im willing to come see them and on the other hand, are making plenty of effort to see other acquaintances in their life. To contrast this in beauty, friends I have very rarely talked to or known for a significantly short time frame have gone out of their way to make sure I have a place to stay, spend time with me, and assure that I have an awesome experience. Its truly a remarkable event that draws out every relationship in the open and magnifies its value to the fullest degree. Friendship and kindness isnt dictated by time, but by action. I am really looking forward to spending time with those who are willing to see me and cant wait. 4 days!
