Youll have to excuse the quality of this image, but I was standing the third turn at Columbia Speedway and got this shot of Tiny Lund Paying a debt to Haskell Willingham coming out of the second turn. At the last race in 1968, Willingham turned Lund and the native Iowan promised to get even and this is exactly what he did on opening night the following year, even though it meant damaging his car as well as the Marion Cox Comet driven by the 19-year-old Willingham. Both cars ended up sailing over the board ramp called a guardrail.
