Yup. Cancer is a total chick magnet. Personally, Id settle for a chihuahua or one of those feisty little Jack Russell terrier things. Or, a poodle. Chicks like those, too. I would know. Im a sucker for a poodle with a puppy cut or a chihuahua with an underbite. We get all the attention, from doting nurses and warrior oncologists, from each other, and everyone else who cares whether we live or die. As hard as this is for anyone who picks up the phone to be told, you have cancer, I believe its actually harder for those who pick up the phone to be told, by someone they love, guess what? I have cancer. Imagine yourself on the end of either phone call and tell me which youd choose. Thats all I need to f*ing know about you, mate. So, heres to Yolaida and Shannon and Karen and all of you out there who didnt sign on for this. Thank you, thank you. Thank you.
