all Prophesy from God will reflect Gods ways and not mans. This means that the words of a prophet will be able to be confirmed by its parallel with the true word of God. I had a person who told me that the Bible has errors in it and is not 100% correct. He mentioned that he gets his revelation directly from the Holy Spirit quoting the verse from John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. In other words he gets his direction directly from the Holy Spirit and not from the corrupt Bible. Although this scripture is true that the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth to us, we need look at the entire steps involved. Lets follow this through: John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. Here we find that the Holy Spirit will guide us in all truth and righteousness, and the Holy Spirit will show us things which will come in the future. Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Here we are told that the weapon that the Holy Spirit uses is the word of God. The power is the sword of the Spirit which is also the word of God (read above) is revealed in Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. We also read that out of the mouth of God went a sharp two-edged sword. This makes it clear that the word of God is the two-edged sword of his spoken words. It is the force of this power. When God speaks the words are a sword. This sword is the word of God. Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
