armer Days, Plenty of Sunshine SEVERAL DRY DAYS: The upper level disturbance which brought clouds and showers last night has moved out and the stage is set for some very nice weather next few days. While todays high will be just a little below average today, and tonight will be rather chilly, with lows in the mid 40s, sunny and warmer weather is on the menu through the rest of the week. In fact, about 5 dry days in a row will help the rivers recover and start to recede before the next storm system arrives early next week. TEXT BOOK WEEKEND FORECAST: You couldnt write a better scrip for Thursday, Friday and the weekend. Highs in the middle 70s tomorrow will rise to generally upper 70s for Friday and Saturday. We will be close to 80 Sunday. Looks like sunshine will dominate, with clear, mild nights. Clouds may start to increase during the day Sunday, but I think we will stay dry. NEXT STORM SYSTEM: Showers and thunderstorms will return Monday and Monday night with the next storm system. This many days out, its too early to focus on the details - whether and severe weather may occur, or how much rain to expect. It does appear that this system will exit the area early Tuesday, followed by a bit of a cool down. BEACH OULOOK: Just about ideal. Wish I was going. Sunshine will dominate Friday through Sunday. Highs in the lower 70s Friday and Saturday and middle 70s on Sunday. Lows at night will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Gulf water temperature 65 near the Alabama coast, and 67 at Panama City. --Rich Thomas, Doppler 12 StormVision Meteorologist Facebook: Rich Thomas WSFA Weather Twiiter: RichThomasWSFA
