concerns about my 7 year old ------- I have some concerns about my 7 year old daughter, Im not sure if its a phase, if I need to be worried or if Im reading too much into it. She is a happy, bright, funny little girl by day, but come night time she is a mess. She lies in bed and thinks about bad stuff. She will often call out to me in tears and asks me things like what if we get stuck in a fire and it burns us, what happens if you die, what happens if we have a car crash just things like that. Its so genuine & she gets so distraught. I comfort her & tell her that bad things can happen, but I will always protect her as best I can and its my job to make sure she is safe and we talk about happy things she can dream off. But this is happening almost every night now. She loves her room & has all her special things in it & she has a small nightlight and lovely toys (& a snuggle toy shes had since she was born) so Im not sure as to why this all goes through her head when shes lying in bed. I dont know what to do anymore!
