day#14 update -daddy, i(Ela,6) talk to the neighbor(G,6) and she say she gone run for president and she say when she got elected she s never giving back nothing to the palestinians -why not…? -cause they ll always want more, and they will kill us -what do you think? -i don t know, maybe we do fifty fifty with them so it s fair? they say on tv that 15 soldiers where killed today, the palestinian kill them, after that G also told me that we killed 400 of them, …daddy 400. and she saw a picture of a dead boy with blood in his eyes…why did they kill our soldiers, why did Israel kill that boy. was he a soldier? -you remember the alarms…some palestinians sends rockets on us, we trying to stop that, so we send soldiers to stop them…its complicated. -but the boy, why the boy?, do you think it s like ww2. our teacher told us about that. the german wanted to kill all the jewish, do you think we r like the german? -it s not like ww2. the jewish people have a country, we live here, you dont have to be afraid,…we r nothing like the nazis. we r doing bad things. the Palestinians 2 , but it s not like the nazis ... -maybe you try to do like you did with the iranians, we take a picture and you say palestinians we love you?…..i think they won t believe you after so many dead. ... -daddy, do you think i ll get accepted to the army? -i hope you don t have to -but you got accepted. -yes i did, but its not something you want to do, it s something you have to do, it s not nice. -it looks nice on tv -it s not like on tv, it s not a show. yesterday 15 Israelis soldiers die in Gaza, more than 400 Palestinians killed so far….lot of them children….people terrified on both side for their loves one. so much pain already and my 6 years old daughter asking me if she can be a soldier…. leaves me with 12 years to make sure there is peace when she turn 18
