emotionally levitated and also disturbed simultaneously -my uncle major general shaukat hasan passed away at the age of 95 this morning in CMH PINDI -my childhood memories are incomplete without his larger than life form -i used to spend weekends at age 4 when my parents would leave me with my cousins in ayub park at my aunts house -i loved him in all forms -in his dressing gown -in his debonair dashing army uniform and just his hunky hulking 63 frame with a charming kashmiri smile -he inspired me most of all my family members after my dad -his modesty despite being a world class surgeon and chief of pak medical corps and personal physician to president ayub khan and then ZA BHUTTO was seamless -he looked with enormous eyes brimming with love at all round him -i remember the way he would ask me to eat at the dining table as i used to be a picky eater as a child -those memories with his profound love and regard for all give him a legendary status in my eyes -i suppose i will never forget him till i die but we all have to return sooner or latter -he was one who deserves the divine paradise more than anyone else -i send him all my love and regards on this final journey for he was a blessed sacred soul -ameen for he now belongs only to ALLAH-but i am proud for he was my PHOPHA JAAN !
