every year i see Nathan Brown nominated for a category in the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards i think, thanks Anthony...or...perhaps Eric, for thinking of me, and thats all i would hope for...an award enough for me. seemed a bit undeserved in the 2008-12 years, being nominated, when i had just come back to town and wasnt really doing much at all besides what shows Joseph Justin or Josh Hammertimez would throw at me occasionally. though it did help motivate me to stay somewhat active. this year i dont feel so guitly about being nominated as ive really come out of the woodwork and legitimately reconnected with the scene. that said, i really encourage you not to vote for me if you were thinking about it (huh? what you talkin bout??). i know my name is listed first in the pop category and psychologically your brain would tell not to look any further, but please do. dont waste a vote on me. there are younger egos in need of awarding a little further down the list, such as Ronnie Heart or Son of Stan...or Lindby, they sound like a group of rascals that might like a police whistle (this years award item) with 2014 Fort Worth Music Award Winner written on it with a pink paint pen. so basically, im not your man but im honored to be involved. if that makes sense. thank you.
