from Mellissa Ifill Dr. Rambarran this morning indicated to Colwyn in the presence of his mother and another witness that due to all that is going on [he didnt specify what he meant and i wont speculate], they will stitch him up and discharge him in the morning. Please note that Dr. Amir did indicate several days ago that he believed he was ready for discharge but that he would only do so once the shackles were off because he would heal better at home. Sharon has indicated that his queen bed does not have a mattress so we need to secure a sturdy one for him ASAP - TODAY since the stores wont be opened tomorrow. This appeal is not intended to furnish Sharons house, this is a family living in poverty as the family does not even own a fridge or a tv. Does anyone have a contact at one of the furnitures store to inquire if they would be willing to donate a mattress? We do not want to use the monies collected to do so since we still intend to take him overseas to an independent expert and will need substantial monies to do so. So please share this appeal as widely as possible as we need the mattress by tomorrow morning. The vigil at Cowyns bedside continues until he is released and there will be a candle light vigil tonight at 6pm in New Market street [just outside the emergency entrance of the GPHC. Thanks much everyone for your support and prayers.
