good morning central/east central kansas, here is your sunday forecast. today clearing with gusty winds developing in the afternoon, hot with a high temperature of around 97 degrees. this morning there is some rain around the manhattan and Concordia kansas areas, this will continue to weaken and move east-northeast through the late morning hours as severe weather will be low this morning. later this evening into the overnight hours showers and storms are expected to develop, severe weather is possible for much of central and east central kansas with the greatest and highest threat over northern kansas and into southern Nebraska. i will have the severe weather outlook out in a bit so keep an eye on that.. brad
