had a similar experience once, had just gotten my food when saw someone who I know was hungry, looking at others eating to see if hey were throwing out leftovers, cant remember what I had (was bout 7yrs or so ago, this reminded me of it), got a extra drink and plate, had him come over, invited him to sit while I shared my food, he told me a bit about his life, he was the only survivor, his dad and wife and 4 children had been killed, his mom died when he was a child, as he had come here from, and wish I could remember name but was in Africa, got here and found work but then cut backs had him laid off, and was still looking for work but hasnt been able to find work...I also remember a few of the looks from others when I had him sit and share...didnt/dont have much but a month ago had just got some fast food and was waiting for my daughter, she was getting her hair cut, so in the car i was using when someone came up and ask for something to eat, so gave him what i had got, had had a yogurt that day so fig could go without it, and again he was thankful...sharing food with others should be something that is just done without judgement, there really is more than enough to share esp when so much is wasted...
