Dave managed to get through the day pretty well but he once again completely over did it. I think this was much more pressure and stress for me to put on him in trying to get this car show up & running for him. It so great we have amazing people to help and coordinate the event for us. Thanks to everyone Marti & Bob Onofrio, Mark Dostie, Denise & Neal Schull, Charmaine Gagnon & Shawn Clark, Jim Apuzzo, Vinny (the VJ DJ) & Carl for stopping by to help us start getting set up for tomorrow. Dave is just as exciting as I am for morning event and we are still counting down on the Chemo pills; only 3 more days left and he is doing really well. He is managing through the tiredness and just learning ways to deal with how his body functions now. Food still has a tendency to get stuck but he knows how to handle it (for the most part). Doctor’s check up appt & infusion scheduled for Monday to make sure we are keeping his body on track, getting healthy & stronger for the surgery. Tomorrow Morning is the Big Car Show Event (JULY 12TH)! There will be handmade blankets for sale, made by Cheyenne Aponte; these are really cute fleece blankets available to buy or you can order from her to make you a customized one. We also have the T-Shirts, silicone bracelets, and sticker / decals left for sale. Beaded bracelets hand made by “Beaded Wraps” along with food vendors & face painters for the kids & young at heart!!! All proceeds from gofundme site, t-shirt, bracelet & decal sales and the benefit go directly to David’s Cancer Fighting Fund and for anything he may need, as he is still unable to work. My heartfelt thank you’s continue to go out to each & every U.S. and Quebec, Canada donors for your continued financial support to help out with the bills.
