https://youtube/watch?v=ucJ8Dz5kcRI Here is the fourth and final track of the 1991 Demo by the Florida based death thrash metal band Solstice. The song is called Eternal Waking. The band is best known for Rob Barrett, who would go on to join Cannibal Corpse, who has never made an album anywhere near as good as Solstices 1992 self titled debut. Rob left Solstice after that album to join Cannibal Corpse. Line up: Rob Barrett - Guitars, Vocals Dennis Munoz - Guitars Greg St. John - Bass Alex Marquez - Drums Lyrics: More a state of being rather than a place Hell is merely a stage for the soul But all must walk the path Uncertainty, the problem of pain Experience second death The soul that sins shall die, supposedly... Consequence in the hereafter Weeping, gnashing of teeth This world revolves around conflich And opposing forces. Unquenchable fire to this stop could be the last The inner sanctum not easily grasped Left in limbo, unholy infants are then cast away] Evil incarnate, govern the dead Underdweller, monster among men What will become of the condemned? Separation point: Purgatory The place of judgement for The quick and the dead The place where some will meet their end... Left in limbo, unholy Infants have been cast away] Evil incarnate, govern the dead Underdweller, monster among men What has become of the condemned? The terrifyinf flipside of heavenly paradise Imgarey of endless torment A blazing, infernal netherworld Moreover, arent we in hell here and now?
