i am wearing out my welcome it appears here in texas as its tx, tx, tx and more tx gigs..oh wait..wha? huh? youre kidding..im working beyond the red river? yep..logen got me going to new york, baltimore, washington, pennsylvania soon and california later this year then the midwest, the northeast and the the south..she been setting the phone lines on fire ( im gonna miss that metaphor) calling and inking the deals and the calender should be up soon..i feel good about scrambling round the ol states this coming year with the new songs and all. doing old settlers which is in my backyard and then mountain stage in west viginia hosted by my old friend larry groce. we were in a jug band together as teenagers and one night after the rubiayat club in dallas closed we played a small after hours party backing up an old exotic dancer..our repertoire didnt really work that well as washington at valley forge, stealin, old shep and aint no more cain on the brazos dont really lend themselves to the bump and grind plus the fact that a mandolin aint a barrel house piano and a kazoo aint a saxophone and.. rats..gotta run..get the dog and plants in. stay warm and drink you some elderberry tonic ever now and then. rwh
