i despise politicians who never want to acknowledge anything… Our opposition’s rabid hatred for President Khama betrays their mislaid belief that the accolades heaped on Botswana are for the President’s personal benefit. These opposition clowns are free to hate the President as much as it pleases them but I don’t think the President overarches the country to the point that warrants the opposition’s death wish for Botswana. The opposition seems to wish Botswana such ill will as evidenced by their sullen mood each time Botswana is pronounced a success. I would have thought these accolades are an acknowledgement of our collective efforts, including opposition politicians, in making Botswana what it is today. On the contrary, the opposition politicians count themselves out, get pissed off and spite our toils, issue so-called democracy alerts to disparage us and wish our hard work over the years could count for naught.
