i have been looking at the headgaseket waterdrains on my cracked head and gasket, i noticed that where the head had cracked that where the head had cracked there was scale in the waterways (not just around the cracks the whole exhaust side), thought it reasonable to assume that part of the head was getting pretty hot, this could just be to it being the exhaust side. on the head gasket i notice that there are 2 blocked water drains this looks pretty suspect especially as the water way is clear the exhaust side of cylinder 1 and its clean im reckoning tht by not haveing those 2 waterways blocked it would increase water flow over cylinder 2 and 3 and keep that part of the head that seems to crack slightly cooler and reduce boiling and possible hot spots. any thoughts ? or am i speaking nonsense haha
