i know how ppl go crazy over a 69 les paul... but seriously? if it s been sitting in an attic its whole life i would much rather get a reissue from the new Gibson selection. i bet the wood is all jacked up from the heat. you think leaving the guitar a few hours in the car is bad imagine leaving it in the car for 44 years!!! iv e worked inside attics before. so if someone is trying to get money for a vintage piece i believe price should drop $15,000 if its been sitting that long. some might say its valued so high because its a 69 and rare. but i dont care im a guitarist not a collector. i know collectors dont even touch their own stuff. just like gun collectors dont shoot their guns..the cyliner cant be turned... so what the point of having it again? lol I hate collectors.
